Matarau School is a progressive rural school providing a quality education for approximately 300 children from Years 1 to 8. Situated just seven minutes from Kamo, we offer the best of both rural and urban educational experiences.  We show manaakitanga when we care for others, listen respectfully, include everyone, and look after our environment. This is seen in the way students speak kindly to one another, welcome visitors, and take responsibility for our shared spaces.
